Was wondering, when I stick my 88 Jeep Cherokee into 4x4 mode it will click in but when I am turning it feels as if it is grabbing and does not want to move, so any ideas what could be wrong ?

ya you now have a truck that is in 4 wheel drive. try puttin it into 4 wheel drive when you need it not in a parking lot.

The 4X4 is not going to work on pavement. Take it in the dirt then see if you are getting the same sort of problem.

Sounds perfectly fine to me, but to be sure you had better rev it up in neutral and drop it down it to drive and see what happens. I hear 88 cherokee's usually have porblems with thier neutral drop function. If it passes that test what you're supposed to do is walk about 75 ft in front of it and bend over. Then have a buddy get in the drivers seat and drive it right up your ass.
