i was working a lil on my solid axle Z71 lift today. i had my axle on jack stands and sat my springs on top of the pads. i was like fawk. my measurements and the ORU didnt jive too well. i gave them a call and the kit is actually a 32". i was like damn. well,at least i didnt have the pads completely welded. so it looks like tommrow i will have to grind the welds and reposition the pads. so much for the kit being a true 32.5" like it said. and it looks like i might as well start stripping out the IFS. i had a wheel hub bearing lock up and it would be a waste of money to replace it since its going to be trashed anyways. at least i still have my zuki to pimp in <IMG SRC="smilies/grinpimp.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/grinpimp.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/grinpimp.gif" border="0">

I replied on another post about what's been going on with this thing but it looks like you are starting to run into the first of the problems. If there is only a 1/2" difference between the spring pads and the upper mounts, you should not have a problem. The springs will take up the difference. However, if it were me, I would make sure that If I were going to do it, I would do it right. Got pics yet?

I wouldnt worry about a 1/2" differance, thats only 1/4" displacement for each springs not a big deal. I wouldnt worry unless its an easy fix
