: HP60 center section - where to buy (Cheap)?

I realize this is a pipe dream, but where could I buy HP 60 center sections for a relatively good price?

My thinking is that while hp60s are rare around here, regular 60s are not. If I could get the center section for a decent price, then I could buy a regular one for the outers, spindles, hubs, brakes, etc etc out here - would only cost me 150$ or so for the whole thing. Then press the tubes off the parts 60 into the center section, seeing as I am going to have to cut the whole thing down anyway.

I know Dynatrack sells theirs, but they want like 1K for them. Anyone have any idea where I could get one cheaper?

I'd check salvage places for SEVERE front end collision vehicles. The front axle (as a whole unit) will likely be trashed, but just the pig will proabaly survive.

Might take a while but I bet you could find one cheap.

Thanks bigdude, I emailed him to see if he still has them.... I thought about Terra, and I'm still going to look into that, but I believe they are also in the 1K range, PLUS you gotta shave down the ring gear.
