Up for sale is a Dana 18 transfercase that was modified by O'brien's 4 Wheel West to fit thier 4.68:1 low range gear set and timken roller bearing intermediate shaft. This unit was purchased in september 2006 and never installed. All gears have been oiled and are rust free. I am asking $2500.00, this item is in Santa Maria, Ca. Although you can by an Atlas 5.0:1 low range transfercase for a little more than 2600.00 dollars it is by no means a one day bolt in item. As with most of out there we like to drive our rigs as much as possible and with the Atlas due to the longer length new drive lines need to be made. Yes, they are great t/case's but installing it then measuring for the drivelines and waighting for them to be made can take some time and run the overall cost up. This option gives the end user a very strong setup with only a few hours in changing t/case's.
