I have a Cummins and I love it, but my Dad has a Duramax 4x4 with the Allison and he gets 21mpg!!!

The tranny on that thing is AMAZING. I am hoping this engine turns out to be something great.

Quiet! Fast! Good Milage!

Screw the nay-sayers, nice ass truck!!

No crap! I pulled up next to one at a light yesterday and couldn't believe it was a diesel! It was sooo quiet!

Buddy of mine has a Powerstroke & says his Dad's Duramax/Allison will leave it in the dust. But, he got a Ford discount & his load isn't that much anyway <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Nice ride HeyBeerMan!

Finally someone stepping up with the new Chebby. It's about time the bowtie guys put something like this excellent bastard together. I agree, don't listen to the nay sayers. Everything I've heard about this truck is it's going to be the one to beat. Very nice rig dude.

Thanks Guys!

All you nay sayers <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0">

I don't know about racing this one. The 6 speed is way slower off of the line and throught the gears. By the time the turbo spools up it's time to shift. But towing should be great. A gear for every party!!!

The auto I test drove would light the tires (single rear wheels) to 3rd gear. If you power braked it to spool the turbo up before you left the line.
