It's a Green DRZ400S! GET IT!:smokin: I have a picture of it, but need someone to post it for me. I like the green, but I'd still buy the blue 'zuki myself.

Anyone with a star want to post it for me?

when are they (kawasaki) going to get into the four wheeler market with a sport machine? Even suzuki has one now again for crying out loud. Of course it would be four stroke...

What I don't understand is why Kawasaki heavy industries doesn't make a streetable "KX" thumper?

I sent that pic to a buddy here at work who informed me that Suzuki and Kawasaki have "teamed up" so to speak in the bike market. I have no idea if in fact this is the case, but a picture is worth a thousand words I hear. :shaking:

It is true they have teamed up to share technology and you will see alot of crossover bikes.

that will be some weird handling bikes but if they put the kx motor in the rm frame then we might be talking somthing:D

Yup. They are now all but the same damn company. Wierd. This is the first "hybrid" I've seen. Sure is a DR. If more things come together like this, should be interesting to see what they come up with next. Big Red is on the crush again, they HAD to do something. :D

It gets worse for you motocrossers! :(

I was talking with the service manager at the dealer here in town and he says that Suzuki and Kawasaki have only teamed up in the dual sport and motorcross areas of motorcycle production.

He further stated that the RM and KX will soon be the same bikes, just in different colors. Very little differences will be cosmetic at best.

Sad very sad! :nuke:

I here ya Kyron. I loved my CR250. :sigh:

I meant that it was sad that the two bikes will no longer have their own identities so to speak.

:mad3: :mad3: yes that is very sad...I have always liked kawasakis the best for dirtbikes, and honda the best for three/four wheelers. Tell you the truth though I don't care much anymore...I don't see 2 strokes hanging around a long time even on motorcross bikes. The cannot be a good thing for the bikes to not look individual, but it could be a good thing I suppose if the two companies take the strong points from each motor and make a better one...I dunno

I have been told different, that they will share technology and market their own bikes.
