Was a beautiful day for the competition! We had 10 rigs start and 8 finish. I was one that crapped out, more on that later. Luckily, one of the Jeeps on the other team broke as well.

We ran 2 courses, they took anywhere from 5-15 minutes to complete. We lost a brake line, 2 driveshafts, a D60 diff cover, and had some nice body damage.

In the end, Cowtown Jeeps won the overall team challenge, however, one of the Jeeps of North Texas guys won the overall.

We used ARCA rules and had about 100 spectators! It was a blast. We raised over $2000 for the Red Cross and $200 for the SWFWD Robelo Land Use Fund.

There is a stretched 5 and a Scrambler, both yellow. The Rock Taxi is 20" stretched CJ-5.

I just sprung mine over and I thought I way be able to get away without a traction bar just this one time <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">, yet I <IMG SRC="smilies/nuke.gif" border="0">'ed my ears off the slipyoke on my RC D60 in the first 10 yards of the trail!

It was a great trip. I drove up with BigA$$YJ to watch the action. Well worth it. I still cant believe a jeep with a D30 front one, but oh well. I think they need to make the course much harder next time <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> make it a real Carnage in Clayton...JK It was a great day for wheeling. Nice to meet everyone too. Got that trac bar on yet Nolen? <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0"> I wanted to see the only Yota win that thing.

See Rick, I told you we should have run Jim & Juanita's which lead to that ABC trails that were used for the the event.

That's the stuff that Dough and Bill (those big ass Jeeps) ran after we did Rock Creek Friday night. Miss a line and you could be out there all night!

Nolen - sorry to hear about the bad luck. Mabe you ought to give old Sam's Offroad a call. I'll be at their run in Clayton this weekend and can be your courier :-)
