the frame was glass thats why it snapped in half

the doors are glass too

the front was, at first completion

but my fibreglass show parts are nearly all destroyed, and being replaced by rustable, and heavier steel, that just bends and doesnt crack :nuke:

the above shot shows my borrowed 35s, since i destroyed 2 tyres and a mag on the upper waterfall track, cut them up good

looks pretty funky, after i pulled that guard off the tyre, i drove it like this for 2 weeks, (its winter here atm) and damn was it COOOOLD and getting stuck behind other vehicles, left bruises on my face :eek:

watery eyes and small bugs added to the thrills

fitted new screen last saturday and much better, still no top and the seats are soaking wet, after 3 days rain :D (carry spare plastic bags at all times now)

dammit, i know why woody hates mud, its in every light on the passenger side :mad3: all over the seats and stuff

also exploded the brake assembly off my winch :rasta:

the top half is broken into pieces and sits in the back, the bottom wasnt unbolted until i fitted the new one!

as for the smell, naw its been raining pretty heavily of late (winter rains) and i havent put the bikini top back on, i park it facing uphill thugh, so teh mud drains out the back, chicks used to reckon it was pretty cool

now they like EWWW :D

havent got a roof, so its sorta cleaning itself out

i got ragged on for my truck being too nice and im even letting it RUST, i just leave the bare and scratched off areas :rasta: ROFL

but its pretty all terrain, rocks, mud, sand, trail riding, daily driving, although it'll be in a homeless state in 6 months time, and it wont be street drivable :barf: :flipoff2:

Where abouts do live, its sounds like you must be down south I live on the Gold Coast.

I have competed at evry round of the extreme winch challenge series, Woodpecker and Nissan trials and I havn't seen you either so let me put it this way. I will gather the crew, Brett purple fj40 airbags and 38's, Andrew GQ 8" Coil lift and 38's, Tony Tube chassis jeep TJ with coilovers and 36"s and myself, all are locked front and rear, beadlocked and have 4:1 transfercase gearsets or changed r&p's or both.

I grenaded my front driveshaft this afternoon playing at a top secret SEQ location (my farm) the tube twisted and shatered climbing a good size vertical rock ledge I have down the back in my play area. Owe well I will fix it Monday at work. The trip will have to be in the next couple of weeks as I am looking to purchase my coilovers soon and when they arrive I will be building the front 4 link and rear 3 link at Wizard Performance with Brent so the ute will be off the road for a month or so. Email me off list and I will give details of the trip.

gather up your car, ill put fuel in mine, and it looks like i need it!!

one round of the warn challenge is up here and the rest is down in southern land too (that cold place)

if its around SEQ (south east queensland) it should be sweet!!

although i never seem to be able to make it to anything i plan so we are yet to see i guess :( always wrenchin on the junk

Was a new south welshman until a year ago now live in the Tallebudgera valley and work for Motorama 4X4XMORE at Salisbury. Winch challenge has 3 rounds in SEQ . We have started a invite only club for SEQ competitors called 4 Play 4x4 club. A major offroad event has never been won by a QLD team and we intend to change that. We have 2 guys competing in the Tuff Truck (if they get the votes) and we will be taking a team to the Nissan Trials and Woodpecker next year.

Umm PeteK rig isn't really tub framed - But does have loads of tube work & ain't running 36"s either....I thought he was on 42"swampers...And on the TTC site mentions 44" boogers

It is Tube from the doors back and while it was getting built it had 36s on it and i think it still has at the moment but he has 44s comming. But i could be wrong about the 36s.
Its just the only Tuff TJ i have seen/heard of in S/E QLD.

I agree - It's probably the currently Tuffest TJ in Aust. here are a few TJ's getting modded up in Qld (I know of one with atlas & D60's being built right now), but they aren't quite as active as the NSW & Vic modifiers....
