So does this mean that I have a model 248 rear now?

I always wondered where they came up with the Axle ID numbers in my Dodge service manual.

That manual lists two different Dana 44's, a "Dana44" and a "Super Dana44". Does anyone know if a Dana44 front from a Wagoneer is considered a "Super Dana44"???

I would -guess- that a super 44 is an HD. And the waggy isn't a 44 HD.

That and it can't leap buildings in a single bound. And it's surely not as fast as a speeding bullet. So nope, not super. <IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0">
