I'm a toy guy swapping in Chevy stuff, looking for a bellhousing to mate my 4.3 to my NV4500. I know that all GM small block and big block bolt patterns are the same, but are the deisels the same as well. I need to know cause I can get a good deal on one, but it came from a deisel. Thanks for your help.

Yes, they are the same. I bolted my 700R4 right up to my 350 when I swapped out the 6.2. 6.5 is the same too; however, the old 350 Olds diesel is not the same, it has the standard BOP pattern.

if you are thinking of going hydro clutch the 85+ bell has dual patterns for sm465 and nv4500 with a built in slave cylinder mount on DS

If you're local, I've got one out of an '87 K5. I would have mentioned it last post, but didn't think it would work for you. I also have the flywheel, but don't think it would work on a 4.3 (off an '87 350, 1 pc rear main).

Thanks for your help guys.
Pcorssmit, I'd be interested, but I'm in WA. Thanks anyway.
