An ugly divorce forces me to sell my long-time, trusted companion. Thus, I have for sale a 2003 Jeep Wrangler “X”. It is White with a “Spice” color (dark tan) soft top. It has a 4spd automatic transmission, cruise control, air conditioning, driver and passenger airbags. It has been my daily driver since I purchased it in November 2003. There are just over 85K miles on the jeep (just went over 85K this past weekend).
First off, this jeep is 100% reliable. I have driven it every day since Nov. 2003 without any problems whatsoever. I have driven it throughout all of California, up and down the west coast, to Arizona, and to Wyoming and Montana a number times, all without any problems.
The jeep has been meticulously maintained inside and out since purchase. The oil has been changed religiously every 3000 miles with Mobile 1 synthetic oil. The transmission, transfer case, and front and rear differential fluids have been changed at least yearly, and often more frequently. All fluids have been changed within the last 3 months.
Numerous modifications have been done to the jeep to improve its offroad worthiness and increase its creature comforts. Basically, you can point this jeep anywhere you want to go, and it will take you there… and back… anywhere. I have offroaded this jeep and never experienced any problems. I’ve never broke anything on the trail.
Interior/Exterior –

I’ve added an OEM Center consol with 4 cup holders and an OEM Add-A-Trunk to the stock X interior.
Two fire extinguishers
Husky Floor liners are provided to protect the carpet.
I have a Bikini Top that will go with the Jeep.
There are multiple alarm systems to protect the jeep and its contents.

Kilby Gas Tank skid plate
Warn rear bumper & spare tire carrier
Recovery –

Rockstomper Winch rope and fairlead
Viair on-board air system
I’m sure I’m forgetting modifications and additions to the jeep. Some of which may be substantial. If you’re interested, please feel free to ask any pertinent questions.
If you’re into “wheeling” you can obviously tell this jeep is fairly extremely built. On the trail, if you’re driving this jeep, you will be either leading the group or in the back helping others. I’ve built this jeep this way to ensure that I can do what I want on the weekend, and still hop in it and drive it to work Monday morning. It has never failed me. Period. Even as built as it is, it still drives very well and is plenty comfortable to hop in and drive to the store, to Santana Row, to Lake Tahoe, to Taos, New Mexico, or to the Rubicon.
Obviously, there are several thousand dollars in modifications to this jeep. The axels alone are over $6000, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Accordingly, it’s very difficult to determine an appropriate asking price. However, after reviewing all the pricing guides, Kelly Blue Book, NADA, Edmunds, and so on, I’ve come up with the following asking price…
****PRICE REDUCED****
I’m asking $17,900 for my jeep. Serious inquires only.
