I was going through some of my magazines (I've got stacks) and ran across an old issue (Off-Road January 1977) and what struck me were some of the ads. Here is a couple of them, that I thought were interesting. Sorry for the size of these, but otherwise you really can't read/see them.

Here is an ad for Downey Toyota before the dealership and the 4x4 store seperated.

Here is one for 4WPW. What the hell is wrong with them, only a 1/4 of a page? I expect their ads to be at least 5 or 6 pages.

You could get one, Midas made a 6 seater IH Traveler with 2 front, 2 middle captains chairs, a rear bench, and with shag carpet. Looked like a Scout with a van conversion.
