New battery...new alternator...new voltage regulator...system still does not charge...this is all on a stock 73-40...what else could it be?

I only know of 2 grounds...the neg. battery cable and the starter ground! are there any others?

is the regulator selfgrounding?hows the plug look on the regulator?if it is not grounding right you wont get any charge.I would check all the wiring and if it all looks fine you might have a bad regulator hell maybe your alt is crap I would check it all out.I hope some of this is of help :smokin:

regulator bolts to the firewall...i assume it gets its ground from there...there is a blue wire that is not plugged into anything...my haynes schematic did not show where this went...where does that go...is it a ground wire?
