tellico has changed a bit since i was there last in 1998. lower 2 is a great trail!!! it has really gotten bad since 98. i ran it 3 times while i was there and didn't get the first pic. probably because i ran it at night all 3 times. it was a fun trip and wish i could have stayed longer!!!

It does look like fun. Its about 4 hours from my moms place and I considered towing all the way back when I visit her ,so's I can go and possibly call out DRM ( or at least wheel with him...):flipoff2:

I, too, was there this weekend... I think I saw your rig rolling in from the TN side... I was staying at the Green Mold with some Tacoma guys...

I ran 11 on Saturday, and a Scrambler had left a nice coating of gas/oil on the rocks at guard rail, making it, ahem, interesting...

Didn't get to run Lower 2 (no spare inner axle shafts), but 3 Tacomas did... 2 didn't pull cable, and one was IFS! (He didn't pull cable either) But they did have a busted axle shaft on a D44 (surprise), bent panhard bar, and a sliced tire going up lower 2. Never thought I'd see an IFS truck run Lower 2 these days.

The only thing I hate about Tellico is the miles of trails you have to run to get to a good obstacle.. 2 being the exception, unless you're staying on the Murphy side!

TTORA had the annual takeover this past weekend in Telico. One of my buddies went and i thought he was joking when he said they were having it in Telico!!!

Oh well, I hope they had a good time!

That's who I was there with... Our NC guys pretty much stuck together, as not too many of the other guys were locked f/r and had protection & a winch, but as far as I can tell, everyone had a good time, even the stocker groups.

Luckily (and surprisingly), it wasn't crowded at all!

Tellico has some GREAT obstacles, it just gets annoying having to run B.S. trails to get to 'em...

Here is a pic of me spanking Heli Pad. Notice the dog in the rear of the truck sitting as if nothing was happening. He loves to wheel.:D

Hey Rich, nice meeting you. I love the Cruiser, can't believe I only got 1 pic of it. Sorry I didn't make a run with you and the big boys.

It was cool to see Dave 'PreRun' the last 100yds of Lower 2. And Trail Carnage run the same distance with a flat front tire!
Here's me doing an optional on 4. Why don't the damn thing flex??:D

Frank, it was great to meet you too... And I love your Runner, and the homemade bump stops:flipoff2: ... It works well now, and I'm sure next time I see it, it will work even better! It was good to show them IFS boys (mostly) what a old rig can do.. Don't need none of that steenking hi-tech crap on the trail!

I know exactly where you were in that pic.. To hell with the bypasses! I am kinda pissed at our video guy. He didn't get a video of me on Upper 2 or driving up guard rail... He just got my first attempts. I'm really still learning the FJ, and how to "drive it" on some of the trails. I look forward to another run with ya... Next time, no running with the pansies!

nolen i think you have a different shitneck. he was referring to chis (rode with us in clayton with the sawzalled yellow sami) while we were there on a night run with mike, hayracker, and all of those guys, he went over to take a dump and when he finished he threw his coveralls (it was cold out)back up and felt something warm. slap him in the neck. now i don't have to tell you what it was:D hence the name shitneck:barf:
