: 88 Bronci II O2 issues

so when i was swapping ou tthe a4ld for the 5speed i ripped the plug off my O2 and i put it back the ay i thought it was suposed to be but now if the O2 is plugged in and "working" my truck hesitates when crusing along but it will get full power once you floor it. when i unplug the O2 it runs like a champ. does anyone know how the wires go on this sucker? im not positive i put them back on right.

Can't remember for sure on the wire, but thought it was only one wire.

its 3, the O2 has 2 black and one white or is it 2 white and one black, then the harness has 3 that are all diff colors, ill have a look at it today

My 86 has 2 white and 1 black and the harness is the same. It doesn't to make a difference on mine how the white wires are spliced in.

My connector melted long ago, so when I have to change O2's I have to cut and splice. :shaking:

3 wire, black wire connects to ECM and exhaust pipe is ground, and 2 white wires for heater. ( you have a heated O2 sensor) So one white wire is 12 volts and the other is ground. Like 4x4 said the the white wires can be hook up either way
