I've got what should be a 78-9 HP 44 front. I need to get some shafts for it. The local guy was giving me the run around on the phone so I was just hoping that someone here could lead me in the direction of finding part #'s. Long side is 33 1/2" from end to center of joint and short side looks to be 18 3/4". I'm trying to get my junk done so I can run next week on Mission Impossible with the tour.

Which part numbers are you looking for? Factory? Warn? Something else?

Easy,
I f you know the application (say 79 F250 4x4) you can go to the dana expert site (google search on dana expert will turn it up) and click on light axle, axle BOM, then search by application, type in the application, it will produce a table of parts with part numbers, including shafts.
If this is too garbled, just tell me the fawkin app and I'll look em up

1979 F-150 Full-time or part-time t-case: Right: 660124-1 Left: 660124-2
1979 F-150 Super Cab & 1979 F-250: R: 660124-3 L: 660124-4
...-1 from center of joint to inner tip: 33.91"
...-2 from center of joint to inner tip: 18.91"
...-3 from center of joint to inner tip: 34.75"
...-4 from center of joint to inner tip: 18.63"
Hope this helps. Looks to me like you probably have an axle from a short cab F-150.

I would've posted the BOM if it was readable. That's the main reason I don't know what it is out of. I was guessing it was an F-150 cuz it had 5 lug hubs on it.
Patooyee, 3 & 4 look correct to me. Thanks for the info.
