: I Need Pics And Info For Drilling And Tapping My 1988-98 Steering Box....help

like the title says, i need info and pics for hydro assist, i have seen so many pics of boxes, none of them look like mine, my truck is a 2wd 1988 silverado, solid axle swapped, it still has the stock 2wd box in it...i just need a few pics........ apparently this is the forum to look on.... i'm turning 44's i need hydro assist a.s.a.p.

If you look at part numbers at auto parts stores the boxes are the same for 2wd and 4wd for 88-98 trucks. i have a 89 k1500 with hydro assist. Look for hydro-assist on google. It will bring up how to tap your steering box on this model. Or just go to west texas offroad and get the redneck ram like i did:smokin:
