Here is a link to the pic archive I took of the TJ Rubicon that was at a Jeep Jamboree this past weekend.

It was a pre-developpment one. Notice the 2.4/4.0L on the PCM. Looks like the 2.5L is going bye bye

Damn! Could you make those pictures and bigger???

Looks like a stock TJ. Also looks like the screwed up the concept of a perfectly nice front D44 by using those knuckles. Wonder if other D44 parts will attach to it....? Chevy, Ford....

They will be re-sized in the near future. That is straight from my camera.

I'm not into it you guys spent all these years figuring out the weak points and necessary mods to your CJ's, YJ's, and TJ's just to try to figure out what's wrong with this one. I say buy used I'd switch out half of the crap on that thing anyhow and so would you. Its not junk its just a matter of why? To show-off how much money you have by thrashing a new vehicle not for me I'm a brokedick I say it will be a long time until you can get parts for a Rubicon at the pick n' pull so why bother

Interesting view, althought if someone just wanted to go to 33's, then the setup will probably work quite well. The 4.11's 4to1 and the heavier duty u-joints will probably be quite nice with 33's and a 3 or 4.5 inch lift. If you wanted to go beyond that, then yes, getting a regular TJ and building it would be the way to go. Although not everyone wants to do that.

I agree, throw a friggin spacer lift on it, slap some 33's on there, and you've got a trail rig that would have been considered hardcore not too long ago.

Not my cup of tea, but I'll bet we see a lot of new four wheelers out on the trail with these things (which kinda scares me).

Yes, the newbies are the ones that scare me. Not knowing that the locker is just going to aid them in rolling because they won't be used to knowing when to stop in off-camber situations..... Oh well. Time will tell.

I have to wonder how the warranty is going to work with this thing. There's some guys in my club that were denied warranty coverage because they had it off road. Also, is changing tire size going to void the warranty. I think I'll keep my 1 ton Jeep and and find a new TJ for a grocery getter. Once it's out of warranty I'll build the S*&%@ out of it.

I was concerned about warranty on my 02 TJ. I spoke with the service manager locally he told me if I went above 3" of lift I would really start voiding stuff.
He also said if I went with just a coil spacer and some 31"s or 32"s the only thing I would really void would be the coil springs themselves. He said if I started swaping out new control arms and coils and things like that I would really void most of the drivetrain warranty.
