Ok, ok, here's the deal :D It's the tranny adapter and half of a d20-ready to be bolted up to the C4/d20 in my EB. The only bad part is it shortens my rear driveline by about 9". All I need to do now is modify my twin stick and figure how to route/mount the cable shifter for it.

  That sure looks more impressive than the t-case that I cut in half:eek:

Very impressive.......but why so long? I assume you wanted it shorter, but I am assuming that it couldn't be...
Just wondering.

nice looking!
I am also wondering about the length - looks like the adapter could be shorted by about 2-3" easily. That's assuming that the adapter is just holding the output/input shaft and allowing the two cases to be bolted together.

The adapter is the same dimensions as the stock input adapter and can't be any shorter for the two cases to bolt together and work properly. Unfortunatley there is no way to make it shorter that I can see. :( Oh well, I'll just have to get a high angle driveline sooner than later. The driveshaft will still be longer than many of the jeep shafts that I've seen. :D

There's plenty of rocks around here-Tellico, Monteagle, a couple of places in AL, and other places within a couple of hours. If you get bored with that then there's always road trips out west. I'm going to Moab for Labor Day week-wanna go? :flipoff2:

Thats what I was thinking was the reason, all in all, still a great looking box, and now a good reason for a HP60 out back, right?:D :D

Hey rokcrwlr

hey I just came upon your original post about the roc box while searching for other stuff. I see it's about $1500. How long of a wait did you have for this?

I think Gershom typically gets them out pretty quick (within a week), but I gave him plenty of leeway with mine. He was pretty busy getting other things done for folks in time for a big event in Paragon. I'm not in a hurry. It's been 3 weeks so far, but you see the pics that it's just about finished. I sent a core so it ended up costing me ~$1200.

Exactly. I'm looking for one now. Gotta line on a front HP60 that I'll probably buy soon. Also thinking of stretching the wheel base a bit-that should help a bunch.
