I'm thinking about a Military TTV (Tactical Transport Vehicle), either a 4x4 (2.5 Ton)or a 6x6 (8 Ton)...

Their top speed is 58MPH, It would take me a week to get to the Con.... so I'm wondering what the highest (numerically lowest) ratio avail for the 2.5T and 5T axles are?

TIA,

hehe the only other gears you can get for those axles arnt gears, its called bigger tires. a 5 ton truck has 2 ratios avalible but neither are interchangable. um u can go to a lower gear with planetary hubs, kinda like what monster trucks have but that would defet your purpose. one day im thinking on getting a 6x6 2.5 ton truck with 12k pto winch Diesel truck for $12,000 from boyce equipment.

Call six states or some other company like that thatdeals with big rigs. they should be able to get you a set of 4.10 or maybe even 3.54. if not may be time to find a wrecked Pete and take the diffs and have your outers welded on.
