To start, I know nothing about hummers by any means. I was wondering about the ID of an older style truck. The front end looks like an H1 hummer but its actually a truck. i've seen a few with the cummins 4cyl. diesels in them. If anyone knows what im talking about...... What year were these made? are they available the public. Engine types? Thanks

There were 2-door H1's made. Got any pics of what you're talking about?

Any Hummer with a Cummins in it is a conversion drop-in -- they all have either Detroit Diesels, 350 GM Gassers, or a Duramax when they come off the assembly line in Indiana.

yes i realize it was probably a conversion. i am having hell finding a pic. Its probably the 2 door your talking about. You wouldnt happen to have a good pic of a 2door would you? Thanks for the help guy's.....

They were not common, but I believe they were offered as a "special order" every year from 1993 to 2003.

K series trucks ordered as fire fighting, rescue, or other commerical applications. Hard to find. good luck

I think only about 700-800 Pickup Series were ever built. You can sometimes find K12 ex border patrol trucks that were made in 03-04 on ebay.

There were 2 for sale at a chevy dealership in North East Los Angeles a few months ago, they wanted 50k for them. There was one on ebay a few weeks back.
