So would a 98 SR5 4Runner with 135k miles for $9995 be a good deal? And would the miles worry you?

And what about a 03 Tacoma, 2.7 auto, 4x4 base with 97k for $9995?? Same on the price and miles.

I always read Yotas go for a long time with the right maintenance. The runner is super clean.. The tacoma isn't as nice so it may not have as up to date maintenance.....

I have boght Volkswagens with more miles with good results, but I have only owned one Yota and it never left my garage. :(

Opinions?

135k on a yota is just getting broken in! :D
(although that's about the milage you might need a front O2 sensor).

I've got 225k and 235k on my 4runner and T100 (3.4 V6's), and they both still run perfect. The 4runner I only just bought this spring- so no, that milage definitely doesn't scare me. The T100 I've had since new and it has been GREAT the whole time.

I don't have any personal experience w/ the 2.7L, except for short drives.

The price on that 4runner does seem on the high side, but shop around and see what you can find.

Ya, I dont remember exact figures.. But I think NADAguides and Kbb were saying somewhere around $8500-$9k for the runner.. And I think for the truck aroudn $11-$13k.. Would kinda of rather have a truck right now, but the runner is nice and I miss my Tahoe.
