I just finished my 14b conversion in the XJ, and I was wondering how to run the brake lines to the block on the axle. The ones I found at the local parts store are too long. (the soft line to the calipers) Is there a shorter version I could use from a different year of truck? I am running the Offroad Design brake conversion kit and am looking for a cheap solution that does not involve Jiffie Riggin' anything. Thanks.

You did an axle swap and can't figure out how to hook up a brake line?!?:shaking:
Get a tape measure, measure what you need, find a local place to make one for you. Or at that parts store buy a flare tool and make it yourself.

I KNOW HOW TO DO IT :flipoff2: I was wanting to find short rubber hoses from the caliper to the steel brake lines. all the hoses i found are too long for a clean installation. Noone here can make them. This is a rear disc brake kit (you cant attatch a steel line to a caliper)
