I just got my new gears today and after looking at them I have a question, the box says precision gear but the gears themself say dana. Does this company buy blanks from dana and cut there own teeth or are they simply dana gears boxed an ship as precision gears.

My precision gears were stamped as such, but don't bitch about Dana gears. Both are good. A lot of companies repackage gears under their name. Especially for axles like the Dana 44 because they move so fast.

Don't worry, you have good gears.
