There is a thread with information about removing and cleaning up the toyota engine. I want to remove everything that is not neccessary.

HomeGrown pulled a lot of stuff off of his EFI motor. Check for the thread on the Toyota Truck and 4Runner forum.

Also, mtbrjon said he could strip a 22RE harness down to the basics for a few hundred. I think I'm going to go this route.
