Watching that thing walk downhill in the second movie was f@ckin sweet. Definitely a technology I think we'll see in the DISTANT future.

Just IMAGINE being out in your hunting blind, all alone, and then you hear something strange off in the distance. You peek out of your cover and see this fawker coming down thru the woods. After you shite yourself, you sink back into the blind, praying that that thang doesn´t stop and give your tree a laser blast, cuz it´s DEFINETLY something from outer space.........

Then after it goes away, you run back into town and tell everyone about the grasshpper from Mars that you saw out in the boonies.

The lock you up till you´re sober...........

:p

I was talking to a buddy of mine yesterday about my front suspension, anyways after exploring logical options for awhile, he said, "Or you could just take the front tires and suspension off completely and mount two small Case back-hoes to the bumper"
Hmmm, maybe he was on to something....................

would be WAY cooler if the legs could also rotate out 90 degrees so you could go WAY off camber.

I'd like yo see it go up a 80 degree angle. Todays skidders can if the tractions decent.

The walker part is cool and all, but have ya'll ever seen that cutter on the end work over a tree? Saw something about them on TLC or somewhere one time....pretty awesome

Yeah, them things are neat and productive in the clearcutting industry. Selective cutting it is another story. Youd tear too much up. Alot of people just use a hydraulic harvester for bucking up in the yard.

It must have some kind of traction control system built into it. In the first video it lifts three legs off the ground and it is level. In the second it usually has only one but sometimes two. It appears to be sensing slip and controlling it. :smokin:

This part made me laugh. I guess I could park next to it and then follow it up the trail after all of the paying and "legal" participants have run the trail.
