: Crunch Time! One Week Left Till D-day!
Kurtuleas 10-15-2007, 09:12 AM The LAST day for comments on the ELDO DEIS is October 22nd!
That means we only have 1 WEEK LEFT!
If you have not written any responses, pick a route or trail and ARGUE for it! We need as many comments submitted as possible by the public! If you have not written any comments, do not complain when your favorite campsite or road has been wiped off the map!
Do not think that you cannot make a difference, our comments already have!
Do not rely on others to do it for you.....what if everyone thought, "Oh, someone will comment on that trail, so I do not have to"?
write a comment and e-mail it to: comments-pacificsouthwest-eldorado@fs.fed.us
Have your significant other write one! Have your kids write one! Have other family members write one! Tell your co-workers!
DON'T HAVE THE TIME?? I WILL MAKE IT EASY ON YOU! GO HERE: http://www.savethetrails.us/Default.aspx?PetitionID=5
Have you sent in 10-15 comments and think that's enough? NO WAY! Ryan is the comment super-stud with 1500 submitted comments on the ELDO DEIS!!!! Don't let him put you to shame! WRITE ONE NOW!!!

RockMolester 10-17-2007, 09:48 AM Ryan, Kurt, all of you people -- YOU ROCK!

I've managed to send in about 12 letters of 16-17 pages in length, in addition to all the short 1-page letters and the hand-written ones from Cantina, etc.
I've gotten my friends and family to write letters too, because this affects EVERYONE who visits this forest! And every subsequent Route Dez Project in every other National Forest will be basing their actions on what happens first with Eldorado.
We need to show them we're serious about our fight to keep our public lands open to public use!
Redheck 10-17-2007, 10:15 AM We have 30 that we collected from the event at the fairgrounds, and I have a few more hand written ones from my children that I will be delivering on thursday afternoon.
Kurtuleas 10-17-2007, 11:00 AM HEY!!!
Look at the fat guy addressing the crowd about route closures at RocN fer the kids!
Notice how Glenn is bowing his head in sheer reverence!
