yeah yeah I know the routine and searched, but didnt come up with anything usefull.

I heard 1.5 is fairly easy but 2" is a bit hard, havent heard about 1.75 though. So, if anyone can tell me, how is it bending 1.75 manualy?

Thanks Much

2" .120 bends easy enough with about 5-6' handle. i would imagine 1.75" would be even easier :D

Poppy is right, it's all in the handle. I think the most we ever bent in one day with the non hydro Mod 3 was around 100 160* hoops, not to mention is was .120 wall DOM.

OK thanks, I wanted to go 2", but was only getting the manual, so thought 1.75 might be better, but by the responce, I think I will get the 2"

i think the biggest factor to the bending is foot gription. we tried bending 2" on a smooth garage floor and it was kinda tough for one guy to pull it. the next time we did it on an aggregate driveway and it was a piece of cake for one guy to pull. using a 5' handle.

DougO,

I weigh in around 220 Lbs so I have a little ballast to keep me on the ground, I bend 1.27 .120 wall tubing with a 30" bar. I read all this crap on how hard it is to bend, but a little WD-40 on the dies and tube and it bends real nice and easy. I plan to try come 2" inch later in the week. Bigger factor to me is the weight of the tubing...unless you need the structural strength of 2" go with 1.75" or maybe even 1.5"
