Is any body running stock yota 4.10s with a 4 to 1 or stock with the 6 to 1? I can't decide if I should just do a 6 to 1 and run the stock gearing or if I should put a 4 to 1 and 5.29s whats your opinon? I would like to run 35's but want to crawl and don't have enough mony for 6 to 1 and 5.29s. :(

I run 5.29's and a 4/1 with 33's and it works, however with a 1.3L EFI I don't think that it has enough stank to really pull some 35's. My .02:)

4.10's with a 6/1 would do alright with 33's

Thanks, Another question for you fatkid. I know you have done some crossover arms using the two stock yota arms to do like a Y for crossover. Do you think that is strong enough and reliable? What if you did a hy steer doing that Y arm on both knucles? would that work and ge strong and safe? Just curious. Cause its cheap.

The ones that we've done have worked well, But it has to be done right. I wouldn't recomend making your own crossover unless your a faily skilled welder or you don't drive on public roads or ever come across anyone else on the trail. :flipoff2: But really those types of mods should be done by the right people. As far as a double "y" in order to get the Hy steer you need the right side to have a hole for the draglink and hole for the tie rod on the arm, and with the left side just a staight upper arm that raises the tie rod. But that all seems like a lot of work to me.

A 6:1 t-case with stock r&p and 33'3 will give you almost the exact same gear ratio that comes stock in a 413. This is the exact setup that is going into my current project. A 4.16 t-case with 4:57 r&p also is a very good combo with 33" tires. Of course I'm referring to 2hi, low will be a much lower gear ratio than stock. Hope this helps a some.

Is a certified welder good enough to do the job???:flipoff2:
