This bumper I know is not for a Land Cruiser, however it is patterned kind of after one of the more popular LC designs, this truck has a 3" body lift so any bought bumpers would need mods or look stupid.
Josh built it from raw steel, the winch plate and frame mounts are 1/2" plate, with the winch it took 4 guys to hold it up in position....

One more angle.
a little background on Josh for those that don't know him he's 23, been welding since he was old enough to ask, he used to spend hours, practicing on scrap, both stick and Mig. Now he does 3-8 dual exhaust jobs per week on new trucks and his welding looks far better than the factory.....one of the few guys I have seen able to do a weld on pipe overhead in one pass, he uses the auto tint helmet and a Tweako flex head tip, and leather shirt and gloves.

What, Kristie wasn't around to lift it up with one hand... and bolt it in place with the other? :)

For those who haven't met Butch's daughters... well lets just say they will out wheel and out wrench most of us! At least Kristie can swap out a busted birfield pretty darn quick, as she has had more practice than most! :goofball:

Yes Jason, actually Scott did most of it, I was working my rig that sheared the studs off in the hub, and by the time I was finished he had the pan off and I got over there in time to help him finish it, the rear rubber on the oil pan had not seated, we put a new pan gasket on and got it going, she wheeled it hard a couple of days, she was on Behind the Rocks and the night run on Pritchet in it.
