What's the best way? We're going to box the frame and pierce it for tube to bolt the box on. What steering shaft and pitman arm? Using a YJ steering box. What else do I have to get rid of?

You can get one from most any Chevy car, s-10, or any Jeep. Advanced ot Conferr sells a weld on plate or just make one. To make the steering shaft I like the small shaft they use on Asto vans. It is very short but what I do is cut it in two and only use the slip part and the u-joint to the box. Then I use 3/4 cold roll and go from there. Wth the left over u-joint you can weld it at the bottom of the collumn. Done.

On mine, I used a scout column mated to a stock CJ5 steering shaft. Cut the u-yoint off one end, shortened the shaft and re-attached the u-joint.
