I need some advice! I have a 69 bronco with a 351W.I'm running the Holley pro-jection4D with control module. I have tried many many times to dial the fricken thing in, it works good for an hour sometimes a day but it is never consistent. The idle is either to low or to high,acceration is good or isnt,runs real rough off the line or sometimes at freeway speed, it is never consistent.I have talked to Holley, local 4x4 and speed shops and they all say the same thing with exception of Holley and that is that there junk. They say that there is really no real way to ever make them consistent.Is there any one out there who has had any luck in programing them or has experienced what I'm going through, I would like to hear from you. Maybe some can recommend a carb that will accually work on a extreme trails with out dying ever two feet.

I have a worked Q-jet carb on my 351w . It's in a 69 bronco .I can stand the thing on the bumper and it still runs great. It works well on everything . You don't have the f/i advantage of adjusting mixture for Alt. I spent 400.00 for the carb shop to work and jet the carb, I'm very happy with it .

On my 71 w/OMC302 I had the stock boat 2bbl andwith a little float tweak it ran great it even ran upside down (cost me $19,500 to find this out). My new 73 has a pumped 351w with chevy TBI complete, full open loop system even the chev HEI work the computer thanks to Turbo city and D.U.I.'s HEI set up. After having both and even a 49 willy's pu w/350 and pro jection (never ran good) I can say efi is the only way to go! Howell makes a good TBI set up !!!!!

Holley Pro-Jection sucks. I haven't had good experience with them and neither has anyone else I've talked to.
