Hi all, new Member... first post...

Well, the little lady had a photo assignment, for her Digital SLR class at UCSD, whereby she had to take photos every hour for 12 hours...

What better place to take her for her assignment than Anza Borrego, and get some 4x4 action in... :D

btw: these are all my pics, her photos need to be "touched up"

We hit up one of the trails, which had a more technical hill, that was a "one way," so we would need to loop out, which I like anyway, seeing something new...

Pretty cool desert scape out there...

Found a nice place to camp... most of the time you could get by with 2WD, but there was some rock crawling in parts,

and lots of loose sand... My rig handled very well, I am overall stoked.

Trish splitting kindling...

went exploring...

This was an amazing trial with cliffs 50ft or so high, however the trail got more and more narrow...

I hit a dead end, then had to do a 100 point turn to get out...

This is a good pic of how big the walls were...

well, I paid the price, dinged up my driver side of my truck, and a little on the front bumper, trying to squeeze back out the way I came...

somehow I managed to fit through a tight pass on the way in, and scrape on the way out... I heard the damage, and kept going...

Had a nice appetizer back at camp... Then dinner... fresh scallops, black sea bass, potatoes with shallots n garlic, not to mention a NY steak!

We put the fire along the wall, it was the perfect spot.

Followed the map back to Hwy 78, this trail looped around, and had some nice scenic, and 4x4 action,

we found some other great future camp spots...

Right on JOhn! I replied! Anza is cool!! Wish there was a big blue salty ocean next to it, but it is still a great place to 4x4 and camp, see ya on the water....
