hey guys whats up im kinda new to the whole 4x4 scene. i have a 97 ranger xlt 4WD, automatic, and live in CO. im 16, and looking to do some stuff to it. im looking into a body lift, but the people are saying upwards of 800 dollars to install it. is this true? how hard is it to do it yourself. also, i wanted to change my rims, should i keep the stock size (15), or go bigger? im not looking to go hardcore offroad, just make it a little beefier, may want to add a leaf spring too. what about wheel spacers? do i need them? should i go bigger tires, cz i just got some new A/T tires (stock size). also, idk if anyone knows about this but does anyone have any audio recommendations? any help would be great. thanks, David.

I put a bodylift on my Bronco II, and without any help it took all of maybe a few hours to do. I don't think it'd be much different on your '97 Ranger.

If you're changing rims though, it's stupid to get wheelspacers, just get wider rims (yes, stick with 15s if you want a better tire selection).
