I'm getting ready to rebuilt my 86 waggy D44's, need to know where I can get some axle rebuilt kits anda full float kit. Randy's doesn't deal with waggy axles (atleast thats what they told me).
Warn doesn't make a full float kit for them either.

If you want a full floater rear, get a d60 or 14-bolt. Way stronger and you don't have to spend the moola on an expensive kit. Easier to rebuild, too.

I've already got the axle, so a 60 or 14 is not an option.

Nobody makes one huh....time to make it yourself! I'm in the process of making my own full float kit for my 9" rear, the axle don't matter, just the tube size. Basically, turn down some steel to make new axle end housings that you can bolt a front spindle to, weld them babies on the ends of you tubes after you lop off the old bearing retainer, bolt on a front Dana 44 spindle, caliper mounting plate, hub, rotor, & caliper. Call Moser and tell them what length & spline combo you want and they'll send ou shafts, super cheap. Run lockouts if you wish, but I don't trust my friends not to unlock them everytime I'm no looking, so I'll run full time hubs and pull them out when I'm towing it or sumpthin broked.

Uh I just ordered gears, bearings spools (full and mini) etc for a 77 waggy front, and a 88 waggy rear (both 44s obviously) from Randy's.
The dana gears come with pinion seal, bearings etc...they sell the IPK (spides and sides if needed) the carriers, carrier bearings/races, I got my inner and "outer" axle seals locally.
Was dealing with Luke x5535...good kid, doesn't know everything...but got it done.
Got the front stuff a while ago..waiting on the rear stuff now.
Cant help ya with the FF stuff.
Don't really know what else you would need to rebuild em.

Thanks Maine, I'll try luke.
still looking for info on the FF. The main reason it's needed is because I flat tow my rig. I'm going to swap in a D300 at the same time I swap the axles in. I've been told the D300 can't be flat towed due to the lack of lubrication. If anyones got a better solution I'm all eyes. By the way a trailer is not in the picture anytime soon.

FWIW I just disco the rear driveshaft.
Cheap and easy.
IF I wanted FF I would go out and get a FF 14 bolt pig and be done with it. :D
