he swapped in the 44s when he still had 36s, and he has only broken one stock scout rear axleshaft with the 44s. he has a D60/D70 to go in it, just hasnt gotten around to swapping them in yet.

also, he is running an open front with an ARB rear, 4.09 gears, and a custom traction control system that he put together that works like the shiznit :smokin:

so i guess thats why he hasnt broken much, 150hp motor, 4.something:1 first, 4.09s, an open front? :D

All rovers aren't :rainbow:.. old ones like that are :smokin:

It's just like saying all Land Cruisers are cool.. if you are referring to a pre-'93, then you're right. After that..Mall cruiser for the most part.

I actually had a guy in a FJZ100 ask me what year my Jeep was :mad3: When I told him it's a Land Cruiser, he said "THAT'S a Land Cruiser?" looking over his leather seats.. I said "Yeah, they were real 4x4's back then"

On the subject of 42's, I bought a 42" spare, but I have not bought another beadlock, so it sits on my trailer unmounted just in case I slice a tire so bad I need it.

Not a big deal on weekend runs, but if I am in Moab, 20 hours from home, I don't want $300 keeping me from enjoying my trip.

That thing should be the new British poster boy...

Yeahhhhh...I think that they are no longer considered:rainbow:

Interesting that it has a 100" WB...Rover must have looked at the International Harvester engineering files for insperation!!!

Funny how that '48 resembles my '53!

The resemblance is only skin deep tho!
