As a matter of fact its a Mazda drivetrain... its from a japanese 4x4 delivery truck (one of those low miles japan import engines)

the engine is a 2,0L turbodiesel, the tranny got a decent 4,1:1 first gear, the transfer has a 2,35:1 low ... (we actually pulled the whole tranny/transfer setup to turn the input shafts, counting the outputshaft turns - after all, you want to know what size of tires you should put on )

and then of course there is the D18 twinstick behind it ...

its one of the oddball cj6 from southamerica, with D44 front/rear and 4,89gears... so the package was pretty atractive to begin with

cheers,
