Grendel 06-21-2002, 10:29 AM Nice parking lot.:flipoff2:
XtremeJeep 06-21-2002, 10:46 AM Guess your not accustomed to airring down either? :flipoff2:
oldjeep 06-21-2002, 10:52 AM That's only a cool shot if you drove off it forward. You don't get credit for obstacles you couldn't make it over :D :D :D :D

yeah...those parking lots can get pretty technical...you better be aired down just in case:rolleyes:
hey brimy, not too bad...for a YJ...:D
YJ4RoX 06-21-2002, 12:10 PM Looks pretty good, if you would have aired down the driver front/pass rear you would have topped the ramp most likely.
Good flex for leafs:D
LOPPY 06-21-2002, 12:27 PM Haaaaaaaaahahahaha... the guy does a good job building his rig and scores pretty damn good on a ramp and you guys clown his ass. Nice. :flipoff2: I love this place!!! haaaaaaaaahahahaha...
Not to shabby dood. Good look'n rig too.
brimy311 06-21-2002, 12:32 PM yah i normally air down for drive-in show n shines, but i figured that i would give the TJ's a chance to ramp as good as me:rolleyes: air down for a RTI score, you guys are retarded:D

Nah retarded is posting a pic and RTI score on this board. That is something reserved for JU usually :flipoff2:
Guess I am just bored today :rasta:
Maine Jeepah 06-21-2002, 01:18 PM :flipoff2: I think this guy scored better. :flipoff2:
Note the ballsy hardcore dual boat airhorns.
Those help your score considerably.

They're retarded for more reasons than that. They should be giving you shit for posting a ramp picture on POR! :flipoff2:

coiledcj7 06-21-2002, 03:00 PM it all looks good on the picture, but what is the number? and if thats a 20 degree ramp I'm not impressed.,

Those help your score considerably. I drove trucks larger than this I would love to see one on an RTI ramp (cool pic man)
Alaska ZJ 06-21-2002, 09:28 PM HOMO!
Now I surely have ran my junk up on a ramp.
Shoot we even had one at the Meet and Greet I just put on.
But.....We didn't even have a tape measure or that stupid formula. I figured mine out once and did the math wrong, figured it was God telling me that I was :rainbow:
flmanyj 06-22-2002, 10:23 AM that dont look like a 30* ramp to me
your front tire is only 3' high
looks like a 20*
kidwired 06-22-2002, 10:53 AM lol dont let em sweat ya dude , it's a good flex ;)
you'd get more respect from this crowd if it were on an actual obstacle.

Whatever....
brimy311 06-23-2002, 07:10 AM ok, ok....here...is this better? it is from march, but at least it is on "nature's RTI ramp"
http://www.4given4x4.com/images/march23/brianflexing3.jpg
i tried to ramp backwards, but it was not as good, my front shocks are too short and limit alot....but do just fine on the trail:p
lightfoot 06-23-2002, 02:18 PM Everything flexes better in Michigan after it has lived through a few winters of salted roads:eek: Nothing like tie-wire and 2x4's to hold the body onto the frame.
Mackinaw City fugitive....

kidwired 06-23-2002, 02:29 PM hey what springs are you runnin?
hey this looks pretty cool
project seabass??
http://www.4given4x4.com/images/zuki/zuki2.jpg
brimy311 06-23-2002, 05:39 PM LOL we did that to make fun of seabass's zuki/....we thought it was funny!!! LOL LOL LOL, believe it or not, we built that in a week!
anyways, i used toyota springs, stock wranglers and some 2.5" rancho springs
kidwired 06-23-2002, 07:16 PM what leaf configuration?
any problems w/ wrap?
red86yota 06-23-2002, 07:39 PM hey i have 7 leafs in the rear and 6 in the front, i am not sure how i mixed and matched them, but the toyota ones are military wrap and the 2.5" rancho ones act as an add a leaf....i have a traction bar in the rear to keep from axle wrapping....that is the only way!!
kidwired 06-23-2002, 08:43 PM cool, i'm gettin ready to build some custom packs myself. I'm going to use bds 3.5" mains and a leaf or 2, the rest yj.
DaveKerwin 06-24-2002, 01:44 PM por is too cool for your First ONroad ramp pic.
Nice job brimy, the rig is better all the time.
It's obvious that leafs cannot flex. Go get a TJ

Those are not dual boat air horns. Those are five tone high speed locomotive horns. Yeah that is right like the ones on an AMTRAK train. He has them powered by the compressor for his air brakes.
The best part of that truck is that it is his daily driver. That is the only street legel vehicle that he owns at the time. And he is not afraid to let off those airhorns right in downtown Dover NH.
