Anybody had problems with these 5.3 going through a lot of oil and antifreeze. This is everyday driver. No smoke in the exaust or oil on the ground. 2-3 quarts of oil having to be added between oil changes and a gallon or 2 of antifreeze adding in about the same amount of time...dont know where its going. No water in the oil or oil in the antifreeze. (136,000 Miles). Any ideas?

Water could just be a radiator leak. I had a small leak in mine but it wasn't bad enough to drip and i would lose about that.

I had a 2000 5.3L, traded it off at 125K. I had no issues at all like you are describing......
if you are loosing 2 gals of antifreeze and 3 qts of oil every 3,000 miles it shouldnt be too hard to find the leak??

i didn't think it would be too hard to find the leak either. you would think that much oil and antifreeze going throught it would be obvious, but everything is dry as powder.

Pull one of the valve covers off. If it is very milky inside, you have porous heads. I have seen 3 like that in the last month at work. There is a TSB for cylinder head replacement.
The oil looked fine in every one of them, however the coolant was always very low.
