JUST A NOTE TO ONCE AGAIN ENLIST YOUR HELP . . . WANT TO REPLACE THE CARPET IN MY '91 TROOPER WITH MOLDED VINYL . . . FOUND A COMPANY UP IN MASS. THAT HAS WHAT I WANT, BUT THEY WERE RELUCTANT TO SHIP BECAUSE THEY SAID THEIR PRODUCT WAS EXCLUSIVELY FOR A TROOPER II. I CONTACTED THE DEALER HERE IN HOUSTON AND GOT THE WELL, ER, DAH, A, DAH, ROUTINE AND THE THING THAT IS SOOO EXASPERATING IS THAT I HAD A T-II SITTING IN MY DRIVEWAY FOR ALMOST 3 MONTHS AND NEVER ONCE THOUGHT TO LOOK AT THE FLOOR PLAN TO SEE IF THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE . . . GOT BOOT PRINTS ON MY BUTT, I DO.

ANYWAY, IF ANYONE KNOWS OF A DIFFERENCE, WILL YOU LET ME KNOW??

TO SHOW MY APPRECIATION HERE'S A CUTE STORY FROM A FRIEND OF MINE IN AUSTRALIA . . .

He went on to say . . .

I pulled an older woman at a club last night.

She was a right sort for 55, we drank a
bit, had a bit of a song & she asked if
I'd ever had the sportsman's double, a
mother and daughter 3-some?

I said no.

We drank a bit more, then she says
tonight was my lucky night.

I went back to her place.

She put the hall light on & and shouted
upstairs:

"Mum you still awake?"

Why are you yelling? Edit your CAPS.

I thought all Troopers from 87-91 were II's Both of mine were, an 88 and 89. It should work. Just be sure and get the right tranny option.

What company is it? I would like to get one of those for my trooper.

Trooper and Trooper II are exactly the same floor plan, same everything really. "Trooper II" was a tarriff dodge, they would import them without the rear seats as a truck, which was 2.5% tarriff versus 25% for a passenger vehicle. Then they would install the rear seats at the wharf or dealer.

huh, learn somthin evr day. THey did the same with Toyota Trucks in the 80's. They would ship the trucks over as a cab and chassis and install beds on them at the dealer. That's why some of the 2wds have 4wd beds on them.

Hey Guys thanks for the response. Sorry about the caps . . . .

The name of the company is Auto Interiors and their phone no. is 800.814.7533. Of all the companies I visited they were the only one offering a complete package front and back and they had the best color selection. There was no stipulation for type of tranny. Just google the name and they will magically appear. (Just like my kids on payday.)

Happy Halloween, JT
