my jeep all of a sudden lost "return to center" feeling in the steering...any ideas?

Sounds like the caster is off:confused:

What changed?
Are you still running leaves in the front? bend one?

Or, did you nuke a ball joint, blowing caster?
Take a solid look at your front end.

i think i bend a steering gear in the gear box....it only does not return to center turning left....and the steering feels like i don't have p/s anymore(yes the fluid is full)

i jacked up the front end and it still steers the same off the ground, you can feel a bind in the steering...]

ever heard of that happening?

Do you have a stearing stab.?
Is it bent? or broke?

nope no steering stabalizer

Does it bind with the engine shut off (no power). Try disconnecting your drag-link from you pitman arm. Then cycle the steering, If it's still binding it's your box or shaft.

yah it binds with the engine off, i will try disconnecting the drag link and seeing.....
