How long does it take to groove a set of 38.5 sx's? Ball park per tire please.I want to do them like this:eek:

That'll probably take you a couple hours, at least.

I did 4 36's with just a straight groove through the center lugs and took 20'ish minutes per tire.

With two different size grooves, it shouldn't take longer than an hour each tire, Depending on the heat range you choose. Try not to go too deep (don't cut cords) and remember once you start it's easy to get carried away. Try drawing it first with a crayon so you don't get mixed up on different size lugs. Keep your blades fresh.

I just did my set of 38s just like that the other day and I would say it took me no more than 2.5-3 hrs tops and I wasn't rushing...used the same blade for the whole thing too...:D
