I talked to Jack Tuesday afternoon and placed an order for my CTM's and they were on my porch when I got home from work today. Now that's quick customer service! Boy these are beefy. Now we'll see how how it takes for the Warn alloys to get splined and delivered...

LOOK an NEWBIE talking shit! GEE newbie, the CTM's are near bulitproof with the warn shafts your up to D60 shaft strengths. Hmmm all bolt on, 2 hour's work if you know what your doing. 1/4 or less than the cost to toss a D60 (if your getting a smoking deal on the 60 and you can do your own fab work to get it under there) under the front....Seems like a real good value for the buck since the CTM's are LIFETIME.
Why don't you kick back and read a while before you go imparting you wisdom (or lack there of) because it's obvious you haven't been here long enough to know what your talking about.
Welcome newbie :flipoff2:

Not yet but they are high on the list. Little tight on cash. I haven't priced the Warns for the 10bolt front I have but I'm guessing I'll be in the $550 range with shafts and CTM's.
So far only one CTM has failed is what I hear and it was not the joints fault. The knuckle was missing stops and got turned so far that it bound the shaft. Totaly not a normal failure. I hear even with it not being a CTM problem that Jack was a stand up guy and honored the warranty and replaced it. Got to love a guy that will do that.
D60's are just not to be found down here. I'm staying with 35's max so the CTM's and Warn shafts should be the fix that I need. Save me a lot of expense and trouble.

60s are everywhere
for your ride they bolt in
CTMs are for jeep guys
can they survive daily driver/winter conditions usage or just rock buggy grease them daily stuff?

Not in GA. Serious.
I would be willing to buy a thrashed K30 to get one and part the rest of the truck out. Depdog and Keith have been looking for over a year. Yeah you guy's up there seem to have a good supply and out west and in particular OR have a good supply. Most of the 30's down here are dually's Add shipping cross county on a $1200 D60 that needs going through and you up to $1500 easy if you get one with the gears you want. Then add a set of rims....Up to $2k pretty quick. All of the junkyards I deal with that will sell me a D60 at a decent price have a list of people waiting.
I'm already locked in the front so really since I plan (we know how that goes LOL ) to stay on 35's max the CTM/ Warn deal is really not a bad alternative. Plus it will keep the weight of my truck down. I'm looking at going on a big diet....Thinking about full fiberglass front clip and tube out under the hood like a pre runner or Watsons Green Jimmy. I'm pretty confident the hard top is permently off. Prerunner rear 1/4's Just pull the 1/4and and front fenders when it on the trail. Look like crap but it will narrow the truck up 6 inches a side except at the door frame :)
CTM only sells them for the front axle so as long as your not running full time should not be a wear issue. I grease after every trail ride and only drive the truck on the weekends. Should out last the rest of the truck.

i would rather change a joint or shaft rather than a ring and pinion. remember no matter what you do to your 44 its still only a 44. get a 60 you can find them my friend Dave just bought three and gave me one. you gotta look for a k-30 that runs like shit or cant smog. call the guy up and ask him what kinda axles it has and if he says "big strong ones" or something like that he dosent know its a 60 and you can buy the whole truck for cheap.;)
