I had an idea this morning and thought i would run it by you all and see what you thought. I have access to a '79 Bronco Frame, and am looking for a little different idea for a trail rig...so....I had thought about taking the Bronco frame, locating the axle 4" forward, 6" Deaver Superflex coils, 6" Extended radius arms with Currie Jonny Joints. Link the rear using stock front buckets, "C" Wedges, and turn it into a 4 link with some kind of a wishbone to locate the axle maybe? The object of this all of course would the best approach and departure angles possible while maintaining(sp?) a fairly simple design. Build it like this and slap a truck cab and alittle bit of front clip on it, bob and dovetail flatbed, 300-6 on propane, C6-203/205 and some 37x13 boggers. what do you think guys??

Been done. Sounds like a solid combo.

same thing I am planning with 1 tons. Not trying to steal the thread but everyone who has extended the stock arms with tube, do you still get the tire rub onthe arms like stock or what are you doing to solve this problem? thanks

I'd go with a 4 speed over the C6, especially with the 300 in it.

Oh, missed the 300/C6 part. Yeah, you want a manual with that.
