i just picked it up, its a few year old (maybe 1998 or 1999 model) Trek 6000. all aluminum frame, rockshox on the front.

wish it had suspension in back but ah well.

is it an ok bike or a POS?

It's a pretty nice bike. The frame might be a bit harsh in the rough stuff, but you've probably figured that out by now.

In all, Trek makes a good bike for the money. You'll be happy with it.

That's actually a nice ride. Now all you have to do is ride it :flipoff2:
