what axles have a 32" or 36.5" spring pad widths....? (year, make, model)

well im planing on doing a sas conversion on my chevy and the kits.... call for a 32" or 36.5" spring pad width axle...so idk....it sounded kinda fishy to me but any info would help

The 32" is gonna be the 78-79 ford D44 and D60 and dodge/chevy axles. The 36.5 is gonna be the '80 and up ford D60.

I guess you COULD use a Chevy axle, and put an older pass drop case behind the trans...

oh, and GM has a 32 inch spring center pin spacing.

Yeah, this has never been done:shaking:. Swap t-cases and deal with the VSS if it is an issue or run a divorced setup behind your stock unit and no VSS problems, pllus a doubler if u have the wheel base.

yea but couldn't i put a 205 behind my 4l60e with the help of advance adapters kit? does any one have a hp 44 thats around the mid cali area?
