his are kinda thin and when i tried to weld the 7/8 ones the thread got tight.i was just wondering if someone made some longer beefier ones.

Why not buy a tap and tap your own? Or tap the bung that is now not round?

The research I've done make this sound fairly common. Retapping or threaded tube seems to be the cure.

WFO concepts. They are the only one's I have used since I tried sky's and had the same problem. They are like $13.00 each, but are very high quality.
