most you guys probably knew this but i cleaned my t-case and tranny with it and will never use anything else! that crap will take all the baked on stuff right off. i sprayed it on, let it sit and used a nylon parts cleaning brush for the corners and cracks. was so good, i wished i had taken before and after shots to post. beware, don't get it on you or painted surfaces though.

That shiat is nasty stuff.

However If you have an anodized aluminum part and you want to get rid of the anodization, Use oven cleaner.

For instance that nice red anodized stuff that turned pink over time, you can now fix this with oven cleaner.

I use it a lot. Removes paint too, beware of the fumes, and of course, keep it out of your eyes!

I just used it on a transmission case yes it works killer.

Watch out!! I got a huge blister on my arm and never felt it while it was eating my skin!!!

I don't think it's a good idea to put that on your engine. Esspecially not a late model one with lots of plastic. Be careful !

Definately not on the plastic motor parts. However, for transmissions, transfercases, and such it works great. Well on second thought... Put it all over your motor and tell us what happens. Make sure you cover everything real good and let it sit for a long time.

i didn't mean like engine cleaner, just spray it on. I was talking about if you are trying to clean up a block, t-case, tranny or diff that is away from the vehicle and painted and sensetive surfaces.

It's good to wear gloves also. My fingernails turned a brownish orange color from it one time.

Ya that stuff is great on real cruddy items, it ate an alt of mine that I got it into a while ago so you do need to keep it out of electronics and sensitive stuff.
