When did the 300 tc get discontinued from the wrangler? 87-?

I may be wrong, but I think it was only in 80 to 86 cj

I'm pretty sure that '87 was the only year that had a 300. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I'll correct you <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> 87 had the NP207 t case, Cj's were the only jeeps with D300's. and 88-present jeeps use the NP231..

Bit of relevant info:'87's had the non-C-clip Dana 35, and Canadian 2.5l came from the factory without a cat(don't know about US versions)

and YOU stand corrected, 87's were not the only yj's with the non c clip. Jeep used the non c clip from 1987-1989.. the 1990-present jeeps use the c clipped version, which in my opinion is a bit weaker than the non c clipped.

You can get a flip kit for a Dana 300 and put it in your YJ, but it is expesnsive. Down East sells them.
