I'm building a 79 F-250,am looking for a cheap drop pitman arm.Would also consider other steering alternatives others may have done on same truck

first off, how much lift are you going with? A drop pitman might not cure your angle issues and in that case go with cross over. if not just buy one off ebay or any of the 4x4 sites. $60 or so for a drop pitman in the grand scheme of wheeling is pretty damn cheap if you ask me.

Is it the same as a bronco?? I have a 4inch drop.

I'm going 6-8 inches, have seen some for Broncs and 150s,not sure if they are the same

get a raised steering arm ( or a spacer if it has a d60 )

When I built my 78 f250 I used a drop drag link from skyjacker, seemed to work ok, I built that truck 15 years ago though. I only went 4" IIRC they recommended the drop drag link and drop pitman arm for 6" lifts.

Not saying that I would for sure do it this way again but it's worked this long so...
